What should I wear for my headshot session?

Choose clothing that feels like you, but elevated. Solid, rich tones photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your face. If you’re hoping for a darker, moodier backdrop, darker clothing works best. If you prefer a lighter backdrop, lighter clothing will complement it beautifully. Avoid busy patterns, large logos, and overly trendy pieces that may date quickly. Once you book, you’re welcome to send outfit options and I’ll happily guide you toward what will photograph best for your profession and personality.

Will you help me with posing and expressions?

Absolutely. Most people arrive saying they feel awkward in front of the camera — that’s completely normal. I guide you through simple, natural posing and coach you through expressions so you look confident and approachable. You won’t be left wondering what to do with your hands or how to stand; I direct you every step of the way.

How is my final image chosen, and will it be retouched?

I carefully select the strongest image from your session — one that captures you at your most confident, natural, and professional. Your chosen image is then fully edited and professionally retouched, with attention to skin, lighting, and overall polish while still keeping you looking like yourself. The final result is refined, natural, and ready to represent you beautifully both online and in print.

When and how will I receive my final images?

Your final image will be ready within one week of your session. You’ll receive a download link that includes both a high-resolution print version and a web-sized version, ready for immediate use. If you would like to purchase additional images from your session, they are available for $75 each — simply reach out and I’ll take care of the rest.
